Stupid y in for breakfast before church. The place was clean and had fast service with a friendly staff. We had the multi gain pancakes with pecans and biscuits with sausage gravy. Both were very good.

They are a Pepsi place, not Coke, so the Wife was pleased. Good poached eggs. The waitress was very friendly and brought coffee IMMEDIATELY when we SST down...spectacular.

Rounding up from 4.5 stars for the hash browns alone. Highlights: hashbrowns (duh), puffy booths that take you back to 1955, fried green tomatoes according to my dining partner, hot cinnamon apples as a side, and some excellent friendly service. What led to the 0.5 star deduction: runny grits and not runny enough poached eggs. Now that I'm writing it out it seems a little harsh. Overall - delicious!

We stopped on our way out of town. We were greeted and seated quickly. The restaurant was, surprisingly, not very busy considering it was a Saturday morning. Our waitress took our order quickly; however, it took our food over thirty minutes to arrive when we had all ordered either pancakes, waffles or French toast with sides of bacon. We only received two of our three sides of bacon. When we asked the waitress about the third side which was for a child, she stated the single piece of bacon was a side. When we received the check, we were charged for three full sides. We pointed this out to our waitress who said "oh, you must have only gotten two". Um, yes, we tried to ask about that earlier. Although the service was slow and the waitress a bit put out by our asking about our check, the food was excellent and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. I would likely give the food a 4 out of 5 but give the service a 2, at best. Everyone has bad days so we may try again when we return to town in a few weeks.

Great food, slow service . We visited after the peak time on Sunday. The restaurant was not busy. After being seated we waited 10 minutes before we asked the hostess (leaning on the counter) to find a waitress. 5 minutes after that we had coffee and water. Crabcake benedict was superb, Omlet - light and fluffy with fresh mushrooms and plenty of bacon, creole skillet -a flavorful treat. We had to track the waitress down again to get our check. The only reason for the mediocre rating is the service.

we have had breakfast here 3 times and each time was very good we recommend ; country fried steak & eggs, crab cake benedict, farmers breakfast and the summer in Barcelona omelette. yum!
